Genesis 3:1-24
[1]Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
What or who is the serpent - Revelation 20:2/ 12:9
The meaning of subtil- cunning or clever
Point to note : beast don't talk this is a human attribute which suggests that Eve was talking to a man
[2]And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Here we see Eve reciting TMH's commandment given in Genesis 2: 16-17 which is a precept to this verse. Only that she uses the word fruit instead.
fruit means - offspring / children/ seed according to psalms 127:3 /Genesis 30:1-2
And of course we coverd the word "tree" which means men which is also the same as offspring.
[3]But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
So this is saying but of the offspring or men of which is in the middle of the garden, TMH has said you shall not receive of it nor touch it or you will die.
[4]And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
So here the devil or satan is telling the woman Eve that she will not die, which is a blatant lie because we saw that Adam did die in the first one thousand years of him receiving the knowledge of good and evil.
Precept : 2 corinthians 11:3
[5]For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
So here we see that the Devil continues to tell Eve that that TMH knows that is the first one thousand years that you receive of the knowledge you shall gain enlightenment and understanding according to Ephesians 1:18
[6]And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
So here is says and when Eve saw that the man were good to make one wise and men to be desired/subject to, she received of the men and did receive it into her heart and ears and told it also to her husband and he did receive it also.
[7]And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
So here we see that they gained understanding because the men had told them they were gods that know good and evil, that they were naked and also taught them how to sew fig leaves together to make aprons
[8]And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
The first thing: the voice of TMH walks ?
this is actually his presence as we read further on.
So the presence of TMH was in the land in the day and Adam and his wife hid from his presence among the men of the land. Precept Ezekiel 31:8
[9]And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
So TMH calls Adam asking where he was.
[10]And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
So here Adam replies to TMH saying I heard your presence in the the land and I was scared because I was naked so I hid.
[11]And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
So notice here TMH asks who, it because the men of the land had told them that they were naked. Then TMH immediately asks if they had received of the men which he commanded them not to.
[12]And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
So here Adam is explain to TMH that Eve is the one that told him of what the men said and how he did receive it
[13]And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
so TMH asks Eve what she had done and she told him that the devil tricked her and that she did receive of the knowledge of the men
[14]And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
So here we see that TMH pronounces bad upon the devil because he lied and tricked Eve, so he cursed him more than all cattle and beast of the field
What is a beast of the field- beast of the earth according to Genesis 1:24-25 /2:19
then TMH tells his that he would go on his belly which is essentially calling him an abomination according to Leviticus 11:42
the he says that he would eat dust all his days. What does this mean? Well according to Isaiah 65:25 / Micah 7:17 which means that dust will be the devils meat all his days.
[15]And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
So here TMH continues to pronounce bad upon the serpent saying that he would put opposition or anger between his children and Eve's children and they shall wound his head and his seed shall wound her childrens heel.
Precept : Revelation 12:17
Enmity- opposition/ anger/ wroth
Serpents seed- The Dragon - King Herod Revelation 12:4 percept Matthew 2:1-7,13,16
Womans seed- The Messiah
To bruise- To wound Isaiah 53;5
The remnant - joel 2:32/ zephaniah 3:13
[16]Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Now TMH begin to pronounce bad upon Eve saying that he would increase her pain and her abilit to make children: in pain and travail she shall bare children: and she would have a desire to please and be in subjection to her husband.
Precepts: 1 Corinthians 7:34/ 1 Peter 3:1,5
[17]And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Now TMH goes on to pronounce bad upon Adam because he listened to the bad counsel of his wife and received the knowledge of good and evil when he comanded him not to: Then he pronounced bad upon the ground for his sake and in pain he shall eat of the ground all his days.
[18]Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
The earth shall produce prickle and sticks instead of crop to him and he should eat what little of the herb he get in the field.
[19]In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
So this is saying in hard work and labour man shall eat bread until they die and go back to the ground because from the dust they were created and dust and there they shall return.
[20]And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
so this is saying that Adam named his wife with the name Eve because the meaning of the name was mother of all living
[21]Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
So TMH clothed them with coats of skin
[22]And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
So TMH knew that Adam and his wife knew good and evil which made them gods and he was afraid that they would also receive of the men of life in order to live forever.
[23]Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
So TMH put them out of the land of Eden to toil in the ground where they were created.
[24]So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
and TMH sent man and put him is the east of the land of Eden.
What are Cherubims? Ezekiel 10:1-22
A flaming sword
Flaming - fire - wrath- anger
Psalms 21:9 / 89:46 Ezekiel 21: 31
Sword - two edged sword- words
Revelation 2;16 / 1:16 /19:15
Isaiah 49:2
See 2 Esdras 13:9-10
That turned in every direction to keep the location of the man of life.
